TEAS Exam

Hello I am new here and I love it I enjoy the feedback and all the advice and comments I have received so here I am with another question, I know I have sooooo many I'm like a five year old when it comes to this subject so inquisitive. My counselors are most of the time incognito so its here and Google that I rely on. So has anyone taken the TEAs exam and what should I know, do and buy to prepare for it? How much time should I dedicate to studying for it? Is it hard. Has people had to take it over and over again, I am quite nervous and want to be prepared. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank You:bookworm:

I would suggest going to the TEAS forum, there are some good study strategies over there.

I've taken it & the only part that was difficult for me was the math part. There are no calculators in the test or allowed. But the reading, English & science were all basic concepts. If you've taken college courses it'll help. I bought the study guide from ATI & people also suggest the McGraw-Hill book as well. I would plan on studying for a couple of months, especially if you've been out of school for awhile. Good luck!

As far as what to buy, I've heard a lot of good things about this book. People will spend a few weeks going over this book and get at least a mid 80 on the TEAS, which is pretty good.

I purchased that & it was really great. I took the TEAS without studying then I used that. I could tell it was helping. :)
