I see we are both applying to Elmhurst and Rush. Are you applying anywhere else?

I have my interview for Elmhurst this coming Monday. When is your interview?

I applied to UIC, Rush, and Elmhurst. How about you? Did you apply anywhere else? Good luck with your upcoming interview! I did my Elmhurst interview on Monday and Rush today. I'm feeling a little bit of relief now that I am 2/3 of the way through this interview process!

I applied to Rush, Elmhurst, and I am in the process of applying to St. Kate's and potentially Marquette. I have already been accepted to an accelerated Bachelors program at St. Scholastica but would prefer an accelerated Masters.

Thank you...I've got Rush tomorrow and Elmhurst Monday. Pretty nervous but also excited for the opportunity! Were your interviews pretty lax and straight forward? That's kind of the vibe I'm getting from everyone else who has interviewed already. We'll see!

And any idea when we will hear back from Elmhurst? On the Rush group you mentioned we'd hear back from them on the 3rd of March yeah?

Congratulations on your acceptance into the accelerated bachelors program! Since you mentioned that you would prefer an accelerated masters program, I hope they have given you some time to hear back from other schools before you need to accept or deny their offer.

Both of my interviews were pretty straight forward. They asked the usual questions about why I chose nursing, my strengths, what is the role of a nurse, what qualities a good nurse possesses, etc. They also asked if I was aware of some of the current challenges in healthcare.

Yes, I attended the First Look at Rush last weekend and I believe they said they would send out emails by then. I'm not exactly sure when we can expect to hear back from Elmhurst, however she mentioned that they plan to let us know relatively soon so that we have enough time to plan.

They did...a nonrefundable deposit is due on the 3rd of March so I am hoping we hear back from Rush and Elmhurst by then. I will most likely ask them to extend that a week or two to be sure I will have heard back from both.

Thanks for the luck...my Rush interview of Friday went well I think. My interviewer was a bit hard to read but I assume it's on purpose. But I answered the questions well so we'll see. Elmhurst tomorrow then it's the waiting game.

Thanks for your wisdom over the past week...hopefully in a few more we will be sharing good news with one another!

Congrats rachellehola! That's fantastic!

I am not clear on how it works for these programs, so if I have not received an email, does that most likely mean I was not accepted? Or do they send them in waves?

I believe they send them out in waves but I am not completely positive.
