I applied to the transfer program in Newark, and i know people will say rutgers, community college, X is easier to get into than Y etc.. are not that competitive etc.. nonsense, utter nonsense with the many many people applying to nursing school and the lack of facility, programs can be very, very selective.

I am going between remaining positive and utter dread haha, I am hoping for the best that at least one school accepts me for admission. However I am preparing for the worst. If everyone says no do I jump into LPN, or do I finish up 1-2 more pre reqs then apply again to a RN program?

To those out there, waiting, I know the feeling, it is one constant roller caster.

I'm so nervous about mine :/ I applied to Samuell Merritt College in the Bay Area. I have good letters of reccomendation and my grades are pretty good, maybe a 3.6-ish overall and so far a 3.4-ish science GPA and average TEAS score. Got good volunteering experience also. Man, I feel like I won't get in mainly because one of my science classes is still in progress and another pre-req can't be completed until Summer session! Hopefully that doesn't hurt too much....

I got into AB Tech and then recently found out I was also accepted to Blue Ridge Comm College so now I have a decision to make! These schools are in NC.

@whattodo4 I wasn't trying to discourage you if you took it that way, more like giving personal insight and wishing you luck. But if it doesn't work out the way you plan just have a back up plan and never give up. I truely wish you the best of luck in your plans.

I have or will be applying to 8 ASN programs (COC, LAPC, LAVC(4/10), PCC, GCC, LACC, LACCNAH, MPC) in the Los Angeles area and should be receiving the first acceptance/rejection letters in 6 weeks or so. I have a feeling this is going to be the longest 6 weeks ever!! I have a 3.7 GPA and received 82.7 on my Teas. I am so excited to get accepted and will be crushed if I don't get an acceptance letter. I have already started collecting my nursing school supplies.... shhhhh... I don't know if that is bad luck or not but I can't help it.
