Southernbelle - Have you called to find out where you are on the waiting list?

I called and left a message. Remind me- are u accepted or wait listed? Just curious if you've heard anything

Just wanted to let you know that frontier bound has to be paid by October 13 so if people don't pay by then they are un-enrolled. I know that seems like forever but I figured I'd let you know. I bet spots will open up then too.

Thanks for letting us know that information CNMdreams...I actually applied to the WHNP program of 131 and got wait listed. I have never heard even how many ppl they accept in this specialty program of WHNP. I read another post saying both FNP and WHNP make up 60% of ppl in the program. Do you know how many students they accept for the WHNP in comparison to the other programs? Even though I did have my heart set on this school, this has forced me to look at other programs. It seems Frontier prob wants tuition up front so they know whoever accepts entrance into the program is committed.

I have heard they wait listed more people for this class than they normally do due to a huge number of applicants. I'm trying to figure out how the wait list works etc.

SouthernBelle - I had been waitlisted but then was offered a spot when one opened up. Again, I encourage you to call and find out where you are on the waitlist (I was 2nd).

I talked to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME), she told me they are still accepting wait list candidates. She told me she had just accepted 3 Midwifery students yesterday for 131. I am disheartened. This waiting is killing me.

I emailed them as well too, to see where I am at on the wait list. I'm #14. It seems soOOoo far away. I wondering if I'm out of luck??? But I don't want to loose hope!!!! The waiting is killing me too!
