Looking to apply to CRNA school in fall. Writing letter for why I want to be a CRNA has been difficult. I have spend a lot of time talking to CRNAs and I know all the pros to it but how do you summarize it all in one page and also standout from other applicants?

If you're having a difficult time figuring out why you want to be a CRNA it may not be for you. I actually had a hard time limiting my paper so that I stayed within the 2-3 page requirement.

Oh no... I am confident I want to be a CRNA. I have spend over 50 hours shadowing CRNAs and I know that it is my dream. Its that I want it sooo bad I think i am just over thinking it. I am also not a good writer. I spend the same amount of time over thinking my resume. I am just wondering if anyone else has ideas or what has helped them.

Don't overthink this.

Be honest, offer the application committee one more facet of who you are and why you have come to the decision to apply to CRNA school. I too had a hard time narrowing this part down.

Every applicant has a different reason and different experiences that have led them to this point. I don't think anyone can tell you what to write. Take some time and simply write down your thoughts as a starting point, then go on from there.

I read a book about personal goal statements.. Got it from barnes and noble. Somewhat useful, it will give you some guidelines. One school only needed a 300-word essay, that was tough. I managed to get an interview though. Good luck.
