Nursing Students SRNA

How is the CRNA program offered by UT Knoxville? Is it one of the best CRNA programs? They offer DNP and I wanted to see responses from people who have attended the school or have heard any reviews on this school. Thanks in advance

icu2crna,

I'm hoping to renew this thread. I'd love to hear from current UT Knoxville SRNAs or alumni. I've applied for Spring 2015 and hope to be hearing soon about an interview.

Specializes in Critical Care & Acute Care.

I'm not a srna there but I have an acquaintance that I know in their program. They say it is difficult and demanding like most programs; however, they really like it. I know you have to take a graduate level statistics class prior to entry which is silly in my opinion. They also do not require gre if your gpa is reasonably high- can't remember exact but it's like 3.5 or greater. They also love to see the ccrn. Oh, the program is super expensive if you are paying out of state. That's about all I know, all things considered if you live in TN I would say it's a great school to go to.

So I wanted to see my chances out of state.
