CRNA schools in Florida (GPA, GRE, experience?)

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Specializes in ICU.

Hey everyone! I'm currently a nursing student at FSU. I know that I'll need to pass the NCLEX and gain some experience, but I was wondering if there's anyone out there attending/has attended any CRNA school in Florida...if you could, please let me know what schools they were and what your GPA, GRE score, and years of experience were...just trying to get a feel for what I need to do!

I'm really interested in becoming a CRNA and would appreciate any input you could offer me. Thanks! :)

I would suggest getting into an Open heart ICU as soon as possible. CRNA schools like to see that you understand hemodynamics. GPA and GRE are all part of the entire package. Each school has recommendations for what that expect. Usually a GPA of 3.0 or higher and a minimum of 1,000 on the GRE ( old scoring system ). I would also volunteer and shadow a CRNA. Get your CCRN, PALS, and ACLS.
