Sooo I called admissions the other day to ask when we would hear back and they said the first week of March. I'm not sure if that means by March 1st or after that.

Also, I asked about how we would be informed of the decision. All of the applicants received an email for the priority financial aid deadline and in it they said they would be "mailing decisions later this spring." I was surprised bc in the past applicants were notified by phone. But I asked admissions and they said that we would be notified through a mailed letter. Mail takes a while so we may know even after March 1st!

Eh, waiting.

Really? I have been told by multiple people that it will be done by phone call again this year and denials will be done by letter.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. I was surprised when they mentioned that in the financial aid email so I asked. I'm still hoping we receive a phone call bc that would mean less waiting, but I'm mentally prepared to wait through the first week of March. Hopefully we wont have to.

When would the calls come? Sooner?

If there was a dislike button, I would. It would be such a bummer if it came after March 1st! I've been banking that we would receive it before March 1st. I received that email about financial aid - I just assumed they would call us about acceptance and letters would be mailed.

I was an early decision BSN/MSN applicant and I received my BSN decision by phone and my MSN decision by email. So I think it could very well be a combo of all the options depending on your specialty perhaps.

I can't wait for you all to hear back and see who will be going to Hopkins!

I am excited, salinn! And yes, I believe that it will probably still be by phone call... dee73, did you just talk to the person who answers the phone in admissions? I called the person who interviewed me directly, along with talking with someone in charge of monitoring applications.

Yeah, I called the admissions office. Just thought I'd share what they told me.

Anyone waiting on word for the fall 17 month BSN program?

ljm9304, i'm also waiting for fall admission decisions. i received an e-mail early last week saying they needed updated transcripts before making a decision. i'm pretty sure the discussion in posts above is regarding fall 2013 admissions.
