Hi everyone,

How many of you have applied for the 2013 Accelerated BSN/MSN program at JHU SON? I applied early decision and completed my phone interview on the 26th. They said they will start making decisions calls around the December 15th which is a Saturday so I'm sure we won't hear anything until the 17th or later.

Is anyone else as anxious as I am to hear back from them? I even made a vision board on my fridge that reads: I WILL GET ACCEPTED INTO THE JOHNS HOPKINS BSN/MSN PROGRAM STARTING SUMMER 2013. Positive thoughts work, right? :saint:

FYI: I also applied to Columbia, Ohio State, and UCLA.

I e-mailed my specific admissions counselor to ask how we would hear but didn't hear back. They're probably super busy at this point so that's kind of fair.

Oh, I'm sure they are very busy! I just meant that calling specific people who work in admissions may be most effective to get an answer rather than calling general admissions!

hopefulnure24 are you a student at JHU? you seem to know so much about it! I was in the chatroom for JHU and the admissions counselor said we would here back by march 1st via phone call.

No, I'm not a student... I've just done my research. Hopefully I will be one as of tomorrow, though! Haha! I hope you are right and that we do hear back via phone call tomorrow!

It is 8:30 EST, so if nobody has received a phone call yet, I'm going to assume they aren't making phone calls this year.

The office opens at 8:30. It would make more sense that calls would start after office staff have settled in, haha. Also, the applicant population on this website is a small minority of the total pool, so it is very feasible that they are making calls and we wouldn't know it yet.

Usually a ton of people come out of the wood works when decisions are made, as I've noticed from Duke interview invites and Penn decisions. If they had to call a few hundred people, I'd think that they would start early, but you may be right!

Geez, a few hundred? Are we talking about both fall and summer start dates to include BSN and MSN folks?
