Does It Matter Which School Do You Go?

I am thinking of applying to two schools in Los Angeles for my MSN degree. I have two choices, one is Cal State LA and the other one is Cal State Long Beach. I found out from US News' Best Graduate School Ranking recently that Cal State LA is ranked 72 in the US, and Cal State Long Beach is ranked 203! UCLA is number 12 in the list...but I don't think I can afford that. So do you think it matters which school do you go? Also, will it affect your job application later after you graduate? Does the ranking really mean anything?

You can do a search on these board of those rankings, but they are not based on any objective, academic criteria. I'd pick the school that fits your needs best.
