Distance Ed Grad Stats Course

by Tammy, FNP/GNP Platinum Member

Just curious as to your thoughts for those of you that took graduate level statistics in your MSN program via online. I'm looking for a painless grad stats course online for a DNP program prereq. I've found Ball and Rush so far, but no other comments on the boards as to the quality, stress level, ease, etc.

I recently completed a course with University of Massachusetts and I highly recommend them. I am not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for but it is worth a look.

Here is a link to an on line Biostats course. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Biostats course listing.

Good luck

Thank you so much. I was starting to worry that no one on this board had ever taken an online graduate statistics course.

Hi,

Try UT Telecampus. I took a grad level on line prior to my DNAP and I was not dissappointed.

Was this course at UMass more of an applied statistics class? Did they 'facilitate' the class (and you end up teaching yourself the material), or did they actually teach the concepts? Thanks for any input.
