- Nov 4, '11 by WSU_Ally_RNAshley, that was amazing. I myself am a newer PICU nurse. In my adult career, I had my fair share of patient deaths. Just last month I lost my first kiddo. I completely agree and understand everything you posted. While it's sad, its also such an awesome thing we get to do when we do nothing, isn't it??
