St Margarets Nursing School 2014 start!

hey all!

I am in the process of trying to apply to UPMC St Margarets nursing school for the fall 2014 start date. i was wondering if anyone else is applying!

i havent seen a thread about it so i figured we could all talk here during this process.

I have a 450 in math on SATs and a 560 in writing, are these scores high enough for me to skip the entrance exam?

i am a full time upmc employee, will this help me in getting accepted?!

So did you enroll? My daughter just failed out during the 2nd semester after failing 2 courses. We were unaware that she can't repeat the courses and can never again apply for this program. Also since the program was shortened to 16 months, the exams are more difficult and exams are only source of grade. Even though homework is required, it doesn't affect grades. The curriculum has been changed and some teachers have left in middle of the program this year. We also received a letter from UPMC recently that they are in danger of losing their accredidation. Just things to consider. If you are enrolled, best wishes. Please let everyone know how its going.
