im in a bit of a dilemma..i have been testing with first lab since august of 10..my pnap case manager called and informed me that one of my screens came up positive..i was besides myself i havent drank anything in months!! unfortunately the night before i tested i had an orange mouse that my friends mother made and i later found out it was made with orange grand marnier, which i was unaware of at the time i ate it..thats my own fault..but i had to write a letter to the vrp stating what happen..i received a letter today saying that my explanation isnt good enough and if i dont explain my positive test that my file will be remanded to the board for further action! i dont know what to do! i havent drank, ive been doing everything they have asked of me!! im so afraid of loosing my license and my job..any help would be appreciated!!

my case manager keeps telling me i can just tell them i drank but i didnt! and i really dont want to say i did when i didnt..but im at the point im about to just say i did and hope it will be put behind me..i dont know what to do

They placed me on a work suspension for 3 months which wind up being 6 months now I'm almost done the program I'll be finished in 3 months THANKFULLY!!!.. They tried to give me some problems going back to work but I stuck to my guns!

They took you out of work for a dessert? They didn't offer to let you do a hair test?! Did they extend your contract?

What should be. 3 year contract has turned into 41/2 not even bc of this incident ... It's ridiculous they had me join with pnap in 2010 I didn't join with the state till 2011 when I renewed my license and divuldged the incident ... So they say my exit date isn't till the states date and contract... Well then why have me do it all that time before with pnap if it wasn't going to hold any weight... And yes the state called my employer and said I wasn't allowed to work... Nothing else was said..: my boss called me to tell me my case manager had no idea they were going to call my job or any of this was going to happen ... How embarrassing!!! But owell I wasn't happy with my job and was looking to go else where anywhere ... I collected unemployment the time I wasn't working then looked for a new job once they said I could go back to work but that was a whole long process and they tried to place restrictions on me which I fought bc and the changed
