HACC -- Part time Lancaster -- Anyone??

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Published

I got accepted to partime clinicals at the Hacc Lancaster Campus and start in January. Just wondering if anyone has any advice. I passed my Dosage Calculation Test today...yay! I'm so excited! Any advice on what type of stethoscope to buy? I have been back in college since 2008 and so ready to be done, but the hard part has just begun! Can't wait! Any advice will be appreciated!:clown:

The part time Nursing MAJOR program take about 4 years to finish, I'm about to graduate in about 4 weeks. If u can wait I can sell my old text books to you.

Get a Littmann stethoscope that arounds 70-80 dollars, it's pretty good!

Just study hard, my friend!

I started pre-reqs back in 2008 (York Campus) -- I can't wait to start clinicals. Are you at the Lancaster campus? How is the program? I'm excited. And yes, I was looking at the Littman stethoscopes but I heard that the ultrascopes are also really good! Thanks for your reply!

Lancaster is very challenging and hard, I think every campus is the same. The curriculum come from the same school anyway.

I like my Littman, good for school and later use! Just invest around 70-100 dollars for a stethoscope

I ended up ordering a Littman....it cost me 90 because I had it engraved. Thanks!
