Best nursing schools in PA

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

I am currently enrolled in an ADN program, and I've completed 1 semester of nursing classes. I am wanting to transfer to a BSN program. I am you g, so I think it will make more sense to just go for that right away. I don't feel like dealing with trying to find a job as an ADN while still in school. I am wondering what schools in PA offer good BSN programs? Would any accept my clinical experience, or do you think that schools will require me to take the clinical experience over again at their institution?

As this is an older post, I hope you have found somewhere.. but any program will evaluate what you have done and see if they can give you credit for what you have completed. If the clinical is part of the course, and the course is accepted, then the clinical is accepted. I would say start calling. I don't think there is a "bad" philadelphia area program for your BSN.. but see where you can get the best "deal"! If not, or if you have finished.. then get right into a RN to BSN program as soon as you graduate, as the hospitals in the area want BSN nurses.. especially if they are going for "magnet" status! Good Luck!!
