Any NE PA nurses?? (Schuylkill county)

I know this is a long shot -- a joke actually to think there would be any nurses from my area -- but we will soon be moving into the Orwigsburg area -- and I am looking for agency work in the Reading area. Any advice on where to go would be helpful.

Can't help you in looking for a job in Reading. But wanted to let you know somebody from Schuylkill Co. does read the posts.

Actually I'm not from there anymore but grew up in Pottsville. I'm living in N.C for right now. You will love the area. Wish I could move back. Haven't seen any decent amount of snow in years here. The people there are great! When Uncle Sam gets thru with me I hope to get back there. And never leave again!

Hi Erin! i don't think I can help you find work--but just thought I'd let you know that I'm a nursing student in Reading; almost completed my first semester at Reading Hospital School of Nursing!

I did do a rotation wtih Berks Visiting Nurses Association last week. They say that they make as much as a Nurse in the hospital, and the hours are pretty flexible if you have a family.

Oh--I see you posted several months ago--in that case; you may have a job already!

hi Erin, I'm actually from the Reading area and they are building a brand new hospital that is suppose to be finished by the end of this summer i think. It's called St Joes Hospital. I don't much about it but I know i'm going to be looking into it myself.

Hi I am new to this web site I am planning on moving to Schuylkill County area..I live near Washington Dc. We are tired of all of the crime in this area. I am a LPN Can anyone recommend any good places to work at in the county or surrounding areas? Also, What kind of salary can I expect Thanks Sincelry, Terri D.
