any experienced LPN/RN for LTC pediatric patients?

Hi, I am a LPN student and will graduate this August. Today I received a phone call that shocked me. It was from a LTC for severe disabled children. The DON asked me if I was interested in working for them after I graduate and obtain my LPN license.

I was wondering if any LPN or RN here have experiences working with disable children in a LTC setting? I feel my head is in the cloud because I am not sure how I feel about it. Although I got an A for my pediatric , it is theory , not the real life. I have always thought that I would work with senior after I graduate because i want to work in hospice eventually. Should I tell them that I will give it a try? I do like children. Should I pass because I have no clue and I am so afraid that I will not be good with children?
