I am scheduled to start my synvisc injections in my knees tomorrow. I am going alone and am kind of worried about what it might be like. Unfortunately, I have arthritis genes and have no cartilege left in either of my knees, so it was suggested to start with the synvisc. Any information is appreciated. Thanks! :uhoh21:

I have had two series of Synvisc injections in my right knee. The first series I had about 3 years ago brought relief for about a month after my last injection. The last series I had following reconstructive knee surgery per my Orthopedic Surgeons request. I saw no change. The big problem I have with Synvisc is that my health insurance (Anthem) would not pay for the injections as they were not considered an approved coverage drug. So not only did they not work, but I had to pay out a large amount of :twocents:!!! Hope yours works better for you then mine did!!!
