Letter from CCC yet?

Did anyone get their letter from CCC yet? Nothing in my mailbox today.

No letter still waiting... Although my interview was last Friday. :uhoh3:

I am an alternate, too. Guess it's U of P for me. Anybody know if everybody who got an interview and not accepted is an alternate, or did some people get straight up nos?

Yes, they tell everybody that they're an alternate. They said that in past years people have done some Tonya Harding type stuff. I was shocked by that statement. At my interview this year I asked how many alternates on average get in and they said maybe 5.

Larisa I'm sorry to hear that, I was pullin' for you to get in almost as much as I was hoping for me.... Did you atleast get an alternate spot?

I would think the one problem for being an alternate @ CCC is that they're about the last to send out invites.. so either people were holding out because Clack was their 1st choice or only choice~

PDX, remember, they told us that everyone who was interviewed was automatically an alternate?

Oh well, next year it is.

i got put on alternative list as well and i am very happy at least for that. :)

last year many people from alternative list got into the program. so i will just wait and hope.

I am sorry to those who did not get in right off and made the alternate list. I know first hand how hard it is to be denied or put on a waiting list. As if we did not wait long enough already!!!! Just don't give up! I was denied for the last two yrs. everywhere. I took my couple of my B's over and kept moving forward. Finally, this yr. I got accepted at one school out of the five I applied to and that was CCC (made waiting list @ OHSU). Just stay positive and it will happen for you. I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers that you one day can also feel the sweet relief of knowing you are that much closer to achieving your goal! Good Luck everyone!
