We are a Pediatric Hospital interested in developing a Pediatric RNFA program. If you have developed your own RNFA program or a program linked with a Junior College or University, we could use your help. Information we are looking for:

1. Do you only have RNFA's or do technologists also first assist at your facility?

2. If you are affiliated with a College/University are credits offered and if so how many?

3. What is the approximate cost of the program to the facility?

4. How much do you charge the participant?

5. How many people does it take to facilitate the program?

6. What is the time frame for the course? 1 week (5/8 hour days); 2 weeks (10/8 hour days).

7. How many participants are needed to attend the course?

8. How are staff released to attend the course?

9. What steps did you take in developing your curriculum or do you follow the AORN Core Curriculum?

Any information will be very helpful. Thank you.

I work for a 3rd party marketing agency and we created a brief survey for National Institute of First Assisting (NIFA). We especially want the feedback of nursing students, RNFAs and OR Managers/educators but would love any healthcare professionals to complete.

It only takes five minutes to complete this survey but that small amount of time can make a BIG impact. Click here to get started: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/nifasurvey

Plus, if you complete the survey by November 1, 2011, you will be entered to win an Amazon Kindle e-reader including a free downloaded copy of Surgery and Healing in the Developing World by Dr. Glenn Geelhoed.

Your feedback will enable us to:

•Assess online student learning and preparation for an RNFA career

•Improve the content of our website

•Provide you with the kind of information you want to know about NIFA

•Help us create online learning opportunities that would be of interest to you

•Make improvements in our alumni program

Thank you!
