Burnout or what?

  1. 0 How can one tell if it's time to change jobs? When do you know if you just need to change employers or make a specialty switch and learn something new? This is very vague, I realize. But, I'm having trouble putting all my thoughts into this message. Where can we find a nursing career counselor?

Sounds like maybe a pschologist might be a better solution. Remember your counselor in high school? Nursing career counselors are about the same......matching your position with your interests, abilities and personality. This probably will not address your [FONT=century gothic]feelings regarding nursing specialties or your employer, especially if the career counselor is an employee of your current institution. Real burn-out goes much deeper than they are able to detect or handle. Try a mental health specialist. They can be more helpful than you could ever imagine.
