Question About BSN Degree!

Hi Guys and Gals! I'm currently going to a community college to get all my pre reqs done for my bachelors in nursing so I can transfer to a 4 year to attend nursing school! But I have one question that's been on my mind lately, "Is it possible to take all my BSN pre reqs at a community college, AND take nursing school at the same community college?" If so, would that be considered a BSN degree or would it still be an Associates degree since they only offer associates degrees?

If the school only offers an Associate's Degree ... then that is the only degree they can award you. They would not have the specific courses your would need to earn a BSN and would have no authority to award a BSN credential. Do get the BSN credential, you have to actually graduate from a BSN program.

It's not just a matter of the number of hours that you spend in classes that earns you a degree ... it's the taking of specific courses and meeting specific educational objectives within a program that is authorized to award the degree.
