Degree programs to assist my goal of becoming an RN

Nursing Students School Programs

I am having trouble choosing the next step in continuing my education. I am currently a Psychiatric Technician serving in the Navy. I will be finishing an associates degree in the next few months and would like to pursue a degree in Nursing, but working 50+ hours a week has narrowed my options when choosing a degree online for the next 3 years (when my contract expires). I am inquiring for opinions for opportunities to continue my goal of attaining a bachelors degree within that time period. I have exhausted my options with ADN programs from local community colleges. The commitment to pursuing a nursing program with my current work schedule is out of the question. What would be a good degree that would further my knowledge in the desired field of nursing? I have considered health science degrees, and even an associates in human biology would possibly be my best opportunity to complete the prerequisites, but have also considered obtaining a general studies degree with minors such as human service, and even social work. I am granted very good educational benefits being in the military, and figure a bachelors in social work could be used to fall back on in case nursing didn't pan out. I am also considering the opportunity to be accepted into an accelerated nursing program with my degree of social work. Any suggestions for attainable online degrees? Thank you in advance.
