I thought I'd start a forum for all those applying to Bergen's nursing program! I just applied today and I'm super anxious. I'd love to hear from anyone else applying! :)

Do we have to buy Belle uniforms from Patterson? I am sorry but How did you know. Is it in Nursing student handbook. Do we wear uniforms in all classes

Uniforms are to be purchased through Belle Uniforms. Students are expected to be properly attired and act in a professional manner according to the following regulations when in the clinical agency. Students improperly attired will not be admitted to the clinical agency and will be considered absent for that day.

That is in the handbook. uniforms were about 130 with two sets and a jacket and name pin. I didn't buy the shoes yet.

If got two uniforms jacket pin and shoes. Belle put the Bergen patch on my shirts and jacket and pressed. Em for me. I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else, these people were very helpful and they know what Bergen requires

We have to get certain shoes? I thought we could just wear any plain white shoes.

Did you go in person to get them, or did you call? There is no website, correct??

So the books that say need bind in access code we have to buy new right?? Cant rent/used? it's weird bc the bookstore gives options for rent and used books but will it come with the access code?

perhaps theres a way for us to buy the access codes separately?

What I've been doing is renting any of the books that have a rental option on the site. Because why would the option be there if we couldn't rent it???

Where does it talk about which CPR we need? I have a BLS from less then a year ago would that work? Or do I need to take a different one?

No idea. I think that should be fine because I think I got a BLS one too sometime in April or May? And I got that one because I read somewhere that it was required for the program

So do we wear uniforms only in clinicals or in other nursing classes too? Sorry for asking amd thank you for reply.
