Accredited NP program

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I have been looking into RN to MSN (FNP) online programs. So far i have applied to South University and Nova Southeastern University. I was going to apply to chamberlains college of nursing for their RN to MSN program but someone told me they aren't accredited. Does anyone know if thats true. Or are they in the process of getting accredited? I have an RN degree and a bachelors in health science so looking for a fast track program to NP.

I shall give you the gift no one gave me when I first started looking.

You're welcome!

That should save you about 80 hours on Google.

When you see that list, you may be a lot less worried about Chamberlain being accredited. You have many, many options.

If you're not a BSN, just go to the main search program page, and select RN with Master's Entry.

If it isn't self-explanatory, click on that link. I used the AANP database to search for online-based programs for FNP.

Thank you solo much. I really appreciate it. I did look at the database. Chamberlain was not on there but the other universities that i applied were not on there either. Are you in the NP program?

I'm not. I'm a returning on the long road to the beginning. I started off doing medical things, taught for a while, then went into missiles for a while, then IT project management and design. And then decided I missed my roots quite a bit. So, I will be in an NP program, I think probably 2017. Not yet though :) We should keep in contact and compare notes as we go along looking at schools.

Oh wow. You have done a lot. I love being in the medical field. I started off getting my Associates of Arts, then bachelors of health science, then my Associates in Nursing, and now trying to get into an NP program. I have been contemplating on which one to choose, some lack accreditation and some are so costly. I had looked into chamberlain but a nurse practitioner told me they were not accredited. But on here someone else is already in the NP program there and said they are accredited. I am so confused. Not sure if i should pay an arm and a leg and go to a well know university or pick a place like chamberlain not that well known but not too expensive either. Definitely keep in touch.

Also what state are you in? I can recommend some reputable Texas schools with an online component if you're in Tx.

Hi

I am in Orlando, FL.

Hi, I wanted to know if anyone could give me any extra information on NUS MSN-FNP program, I am looking into the school and I have already started the application. A few questions that I have are, what were some of your gpa's getting into the program? Are the first semester courses online? Are there exams and papers in all of the core and theory classes? What is the level of difficulty and what makes the program difficult? And do yo receive assistance from the teachers with your assignments? Thank you, I hope to hear from someone soon.
