I became a pediatric oncology nurse right from school. Almost everyone join the field right from school. Once you are in the program. You can get certified in chemotherapy administration through APON. You can also get your Certificatin as a Pediatric Oncology Nurse. Google APON and look at their website to find more about Pediatric oncology. Also, I believe a conference is happening soon, in September or October, you may want to go to that.
