Hi, I just finished my BSN program and will be starting on an inpatient oncology unit in June. I am in the process of setting my future goals and was wondering what was out there for graduate/masters prepared oncology nurses? I know there are graduate programs for this specialty, but what type of jobs are open to nurses with these advanced degree's in this specialty?

There are many specialties in oncology you can focus on. I am starting school this fall to get my masters in Adult Oncology Nurse Practitioner. At Penn, we have 24 MSN programs. http://www.nursing.upenn.edu/AcadProg/Grad-MSN.htm

Thanks for your reply Bessie!
Could you or anyone....point out some of the
different roles a Nurse Practitioner plays versus a Clinical Nurse Specialist?
Thanks!
