I am a nursing student right now at TCC and public health nursing is my main goal when I get my RN and I had a few questions and this thread looked like a great place to ask em! Im wondering what is required of you to become a public health nurse in Tulsa or the surrounding areas as far as education and experience goes? I'm also wondering what the pay is like here in the Tulsa area and what kinds of places besides at the health department could a public health nurse work at, if any?
