NG tube vs nasal corpac

Help, I need to write an educational brochure on the difference between an NG tube and a corpac (nasal). I have pages of info on NG's but I cant find anything on Corpac anywhere. Is it called something else? is there somewhere I can go to find the correct information.

Did a lot of Google searching, but only found information on Lima Peru and Steel.

But, If it's spelled with a K instead of a C, then I get this

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but a Corpak Corflow nasogastric tube is a long-term use nasogastric tube that is rated to stay in for 30 days at a time, and a regular nasogastric tube is a short-term use, being inserted with each feeding or at least changed every 24 hours at most. The Corpak *is* a nasogastric tube, but is the brand name of a *type* of nasogastric tube that is intended for remaining in for 30 days at a time.

Huh? Since when do we change NGTs q24? I've never heard of such a thing. We keep NGTs in for as long as we need them. And that can be weeks if need be. As long as people flush them then there shouldn't be a problem. And NGTs aren''t routinely used for feeding, more for draining. For feeding, we use dobhoff tubes.

Depends on your specialty area actually. Mine is MCH, NICU babies, so NGT are used for feedings much of the time. And often are changed *way* more frequently than "weeks".
