Hepatitis D and G

Good Afternoon Everybody,

I have a assignment of gathering info on Hep D and Hep G. I have searched most of the biggie sites CDC, NIH, WHO and keep coming up empty. My med dictionaries and text don't have anything useful. Does anyone know of a website or reference where I can get this much needed info. Thanks for any and all responses.:D

We just had a lecture on this..

Hep D is an RNA virus that can not survive on its own, it needs to have Hep B to survive. Transmitted thru blood and bodily secretions. Seen primarily in Mediterranean countires

Hep G is a sexually transmitted virus thru blood or bodily secretions. HGV coexists with other viral infections, including HBV, HCV, and HIV.

We have a lot stuff in the book that we use. We using the Lewis book. Medical Surgical Nursing. You can register for the book for free on Evolve. com ( I don't know if your familiar with that website but a lot of nursing textbooks are on it) and you can get free key points and NCLEx questions for the chapters

Thanks for the websites. I had already looked at the Taber's def but I needed just a little more info then what was offered there. Thanks for the quick response. This site is the greatest.
