Specializes in Informatics, Education, and Oncology.

Colleagues,

I am very pleased to announce that I have a new Editor for CIN Plus: Dr. Linda Q. Thede. Linda officially came on board on February 1. I am sure many of you know Linda from her involvement in informatics organizations and education, plus her book, Informatics and Nursing: Opportunities and Challenges. Linda has some terrific ideas for CIN Plus and I am sure you will see it grow and flourish under her editorship. Linda is busy compiling articles for the May/June 2005 issue which will be the first one for which she is responsible.

CIN Plus is a special 12 page section published within CIN three times per year (Jan/Feb, May/Jun, Sep/Oct). It features practical articles, current information, updates and the like. Linda is looking to develop special theme issues, too, similar to the one we published on informatics education and organizations in Sep/Oct 2003.

If you have article ideas to pitch to Linda, you can write her directly at [email protected]. If you have an article to submit, send it to the Editorial Office ([email protected] with a copy to [email protected]). We will be maintaining all morificecripts in our database in the usual way.

Author guidelines and information for CIN can be found at http://www.mainedesk.com --> click on the CIN link

Once again, a warm welcome to Linda!
