To those scheduled on May 10, it's now May 11. And you should be there before 8am with a notebook and a pen, and your prc id. I guess it's just for orientation. Does anyone know where i could buy white uniform? Not the white scrub suit...

white uniforms are available at bambang and cost 450 pesos

i think you better go to ospital ng maynila or call them. some of the requirements are letter of intent (i don't know to whom it will be addressed), tor, diploma, board certificate and rating, training and seminar certificates, pna card (i'm not sure). don't ask me for their number because i don't have it. hope this helps though.

Hi, is it true that Ospital ng Maynila is flexible with those nurses who have full-time work. I work in a callcenter and I can't afford to give up my job for 2 mos of volunteer. But I heard that they allow you to render 4 hours of duty everyday. Is this true? Thanks!

@ ennaoj26, thanks for your reply. Sorry, I still can't send PMs. Ospital ng Maynila is continuously accepting nurse volunteers. You can just go directly to the Training Department. My sister is on her 2nd month now. Good luck!

We're in the same boat, I'm also working in a call center.. and right now I'm looking for a hospital that will hire/accept me or where I'll be qualified based on the exam that I have taken...But I know that would be impossible, you need to render training for a couple of months..My plan is as long as I'm not yet hired in that hospital I won't pass my resignation for my current company....So,while on my training in the hospital that would possibly hire me, I'll be working as well in the company where I am right now..It's hard to find a job and money as of this time....Like me, I'm independent and if I leave my current job without any assurance that I could be hired in the hospital, I'm the one who'll suffer....Just stay where you are right now, and if you pass the qualifying exam and you need to render training for that said hospital, don't leave your current job, but instead be flexible and you need to adjust your call center work to your hospital duty..And I'm sure 2 months is just a very short period of time and if you get hired in that hospital much better and if you know the compensation is right go ahead and that's the time you need to pass the resignation and need first to render work for the company you'll be leaving....

Hope we could find the right Hospital for us..

Good Luck!

Thanks @ felicitypaul, I am more convinced now to keep my job. Right now, I'm saving up for trainings and exams that I plan to take. I'll try my hardest to juggle both until I get hired as a staff RN. Best of luck to you as well!

@JedRn, I heard that Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital in Guaga is open for volunteers, have you tried applying there?
