Employment process at The Medical City (Ortigas Ave.)

Hi guys! My application for Medical City is in progress. I'm scheduled for an examination next week.

Anyone here who has passed the exam/s and interviews for Medical City? What is the exam like?

Any particular topics I need to focus on?

Is it true it has enumeration and identification items?

How many interviews will i expect after passing the exam?

Do they have panel interviews?

I really want to work at Medical City so I need all the tips and help I can get apart from my studying and preparations.:nurse:

I would appreciate any tips and help from you guys.:specs:

Thanks in advance!:)

No need to worry on the psychological exam. So easy. Basic logic and situational questions only. No need to study for psychilogical exam coz they only test your attitude and how you deal with people :)

@zephrine: yes. I receive a text. Our training will be this coming 2nd of sept :)

@xoxo: Oh thank you! Although I have not received the texts yet. Which is kind of scary. I think I should call HR tomorrow to ask. I do hope everything goes well. Have you submitted your requirements yet?

nope. not yet. i'll submit it on the first day of training. they're cool with that :)

i received the info last july 29. how about you? did they text/call you already?

@guitarista: for the final interview focus on the med surg topics like dm, m. Gravis etc. The interviewer will ask anyting about the topic from nursing diagnosis, drugs, intervention, etc. They will

Notify you after 3 days. Then they will text you for some instructions and requirements then the waiting game is ON.

I completed the process last may with all the requirement and the hR said we will start by june1 or july1 till now no signal from the hR. My co trainee said we will start on september ---- long wait!

To all: i don't think average % is an issue my co trainee's ave is 77 but she passed the interview and all

Good luck everyone :)

hi dear! HR will call or text you for the initial interview. That will be with the HR only. It's pretty easy. Just take out your good communication skills and you'll be fine. It's just like a normal getting to know you stage. Of course they'd ask about you, your hobbies, skills, weaknesses, strenghts and the like. :) when you are done with that, you will get a text or call again for the final interview with the nursing training manager. On this part, better bring your thinking cap cuz they will ask about nursing skills, nursing concepts or even MS diseases..

Goodluck!

Hi there. They only offer a training program which is the NTAP for those who passed the application process. It's the training for EMPLOYMENT. :)

Try going to TMC and log to the logbook for nursing applicants :) Good luck! :)
