hi... anyone here who is a staff nurse in chong hua hospital or who has recently applied there??? i took the qualifying exam 3 weeks ago... how will i know if i passed or failed??? they told us that they rank us and the nursing service dept. will be the one to contact us for interview...i don't really know how things work there... will they also inform us that we failed so that we will no longer be waiting and expecting for something??? :)

I took the exam last Aug 24 2010 and was called 2 weeks after for my initial interview. Then a week after again, they called to inform me that i will be siiting for my final interview.

I heard that if they call you for medical exam/Physical exam you are most likely to be hired and undergo a month-long didactics.

Hey Dzid,

May I know where the schedule for the written exam is posted? Or do you have to submit your papers first and they'll just call you for the said exam?

You'll have to lodge in first your documents, usually for manpooling but sometimes when they decide that they are understaffed the process hastens.

If my info is correct, they are usually hiring 4-5 batches per year because of the fast turn over rate of nurses. There are about 40 nurses per batch.

i havent heard about the new test format but ours was just consists of the basics..

JCI accredition is once again around the corner and CHH has been hiring nurses every other month. Try your luck like most of us did.

May i know if Chong Hua Hospital is still hiring this year or early next year?what are the chances that you maybe called for an exam and interview?what are the necessary requirements needed for us to become staff nurses?im sorry if have so many questions but your answers are greatly appreciated..im hoping to hear from each one of you guys especially those who have experienced going to exams and invterview, as well to the staff nurses of CHH who could help us in getting in the facility..any hints and tips that would help us pass through..thank you very much..Have a Merry Christmas to everyone! hello ms lady_avoidant may i ask if you are already been called for an interview this year?or are you already part of hospital..coz i want to hear from you so that we could also get a hint on what will become of us when we decided to pass our necessary requirements,what are the expectations will be getting into and a little glimpse of what will become of our status..thank you very much and Godbless on your application :)
