Buying new shoes

I was at the mall this weekend and I was looking at new shoes with my wife. I noticed a lot of people buying those dense foam clogs and I tried a pair on. I noticed that the whole shoe was covered in small vent holes and I remarked to my wife: "I don't know if I like the holes in these shoes- I mean what if someone pees on me" and just then a man nearby gives me the funniest look. I was embarrassed. I said "dude I work at the hospital" and he just shook his head. My wife had a good laugh on my expense.
