The Father of a very dear friend of mine had to have brain surgery a couple of years ago. Imagine the shock and surprise when the surgeon who was to do the operation introduced himself to the concerned family as "Dr. Thomas E. Hawke"!
Dr. Tommy Hawke!!!
Thank God that the operation turned out well and that my friends Dad is now doing fine... thanks to Dr. Tommy Hawke!

Great name. I once worked as a telephone operator on a hospital switchboard. We had a Dr. Horney (female) and a Dr. Bastard (male). Sometimes we were asked to do audible pages for doctors and we were just waiting for the day when we had to page both of them at once. We also considered the interesting possibility of them marrying and hyphenating their last names.
