The North Carolina Foundation for Nursing (NCFN) is offering an opportunity for ADN graduates who have decided to return to school for their BSN to apply for the Eunice M. Smith Scholarship. They are also awarded to nurses who are pursuing their master's degree or a doctorate which might be of interest to your faculty members. Undergraduate awards are $1,000 per year and graduate awards are $2,000 per year. What is particularly unique about these scholarships is that they are awarded to nurses who have chosen to return to school on a part-time basis.

The Scholarship Committee has set a deadline of July 15, 2005 for the fall scholarships. We have attached an application form for your use. We found that faculty members were easily able to send this attachment to students who might be interested. Please share with interested faculty members or graduates who are contemplating returning to school on a part-time basis.
