Should I go to an OFFICE?

I've been working on a pediatric floor for 5 years. I love working with a lot of my coworkers and the children but I'm starting to get burnt out on the 12 hour shifts, missing out on holidays, and working every other weekend(which seems to ALWAYS be the weekend something is happening!). I have friends that used to be coworkers and went to offices/clinics and they all say they love it. I would love to have a set schedule. Although going from working 3 days a week to 5 may seem extreme. But I would always be home before my husband. My husband works 6 days a week, with Sundays being his day off, and when I work the weekend, we hardly see eachother. The days I'm off, I'm home alone so I think working the week will actually do good for my mind.

My question is how much do you life working in an office? I'm afraid I'll make the wrong choice because I have never left a job before. I have a second interview with an Internal Med Clinic and I'm excited but also scared to death that I'll regret it. But like I said, hospital nursing in a busy busy Pediatric hospital is all I've known.....

try it out and see how you like it. you can always go back to the hospital if it's not for you (especially with your experience)

i would kill for an office job right now.
