Post interview, what do you think?

I went for an interview last Monday, 9/28 for a step down/observation floor. I have an associate's degree. I have been on a tele floor/med surge for 1 year to date. This interview was for a MAGNET hospital. The first interview was with a recruiter. I moved for my first job and wanted to come back home to work here, which i gladly told the recruiter. My mother happened to know a unit director/administrator, and she got me the interview.

I think it went okay, but one of the questions I felt like I couldn't answer to the best of my abilities. I was nervous. I wasn't a wreck (pale, sweating, shaky voice), but i'm sure she could tell i was somewhat nervous. Also, I didn't bring ANY of my documents per her previous request, just resumes. I think she emailed me to bring them a week or two before and I left them at home (I work 4 hours away from this place, so there was no way of going back at that point).

So I felt like 70-80% confident that it went okay. maybe less because i didn't bring my license or certifications Anyway, she wanted web based references. I emailed her wednesday for the link and she sent it.She said after i send the references, she would set up a second part of the interview with a unit managers. So the Friday of the week of the interview comes,and she emailed me to ask me if I was sending them. I end up getting all of them in by Monday 10/5 night. They were colleagues, one previous employer, one professor (6 total). I expressed that I didn't know if i wanted to give a unit director as a reference before getting an offer (She wanted references before I could meet with a unit manager and actually get an offer).

So I get the references in by Monday night 10/5/15. It is now Thursday, 10/9. I haven't heard from the recruiter. The last time I emailed her was on 10/5 night. I recall emailing her a few times. Once I emailed her saying one of my colleagues had an emergency (she did) and may not get it in and that I would get someone else to put in an email (which i did), but that colleague with the emergency ended up submitting it anyway. Another email was to confirm that I had them all completed.

My question is, what are my changes given the situation? I was told in the interview that the next orientation is Mid-to late November? And we discussed how if something were to happen, I would give a 4 week notice. IF she were interested, wouldn't the recruiter call me to set something up with a unit manager by now?? Also, my mother texted this unit director about something unrelated to me, and the lady texted her back asking if i got hired. IS THIS GOOD? I don't know what to think, that interview could've went better, but if she truly didn't like me i don't think she would ask for references. And I highly doubt my references were bad...

ALSO, sorry this is long but i want to mention one thing. Because the references came in late, I hate to ask someone i used to work with at a non nursing job for 3-4 months, and we still talk as friends, so when i asked him what he said my 'negatives" were, he said "needs to stay confident" and "maintain focus on the goals". is that terrible? people aren't perfect so he had to say something but is that bad ? I don't know what anyone else said. I just asked him because we are close friends…he did say a lot of positive things about me though.
