Please recommend esteemed Nor Cal RN programs

I've decided to leave the world of IT in favor of becoming an RN. I'd like to know which schools have good reputations in Northern California. I already have a B.A. - would it hurt me when promotion time comes if I have AA RN rather than BSN RN qualifications? School costs are a consideration as well.

Also, I may move back to Hawaii one day so it's important to me to go to a school that has the kind of accredidation that would allow me to move to another state. I'm not really sure what the differences are in accredidation either.
