i got scared at first thinking i was going to taste a lot of haterade on here, but thank you all for saying the nice things you did. :-)

my mom is atheist/agnostic and my hubby is agnostic/questioning as well....both are good people and seem to abide by the religion of being a good person and letting others "do their own thing".
That is sort of Jesus message in terms of everyday conduct. We as believers, should hold our brothers and sisters in faith accountable for our Christian conduct when we are in a faith community. Apart from that, we are not judges and should not behave as such. All very much in my opinion.

I very much enjoyed your post.

...I've also driven to work many times literally saying out loud one of my favorite verses...." I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" ---Philipians 4:13
Having the Word in our hearts to put on our tongue in an instant is a powerful tool.
One that I do not often enough employ.

Made me think of Hebrews 4:12...
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

I think it's brilliant that someone can share their faith in an unoffensive way. Keep up the good work.
    i agree with you, nurseme.
it is an uncommon occurrence when a religious person can be embracing and inclusive of all folks...
without trying to incorporate their own personal beliefs.
that is why i enjoyed this thread...
as it seemed most posters were celebratory of the unity op created, when recognizing all of us as complementary to one another.
it was a lovely feeling while it lasted.

    thanks again, op.
