I am a new RN, and I am under an order by the TX BON that requires urine tests at least weekly for 3 months, bi weekly for 3 months, and so on for 2 years.

I went to the RT website, but they offered little info. I was wondering if anyone knew if you had to pay that day on the spot, or if there are payment options. I will start work on the 29th, but I won't be paid until the 17th of the following month. Money is an issue, for sure, especially when the tests are at least $55 a pop. Can anyone help me with some info?

Im to be tested 'at least' once a week. Does this mean I'm more or less likely to be tested several times a week? I have no problem with the testing, it's just the money part I'm scared of.

Recovery trek has my credit card info and debits my account 60.00 a pop a day or two after my drug screens.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not as worried about it now that I know the testing won't start for 2 weeks after I sign up. By then I'll be getting paid at least. The only other part that is annoying is not knowing whether or not there is an authorized collection site where I live. If not, there'll be extra fees. Oh well, I guess I just gotta roll with it for the next 2 years. I'm just glad to have a license and a job.
