Is the money worth it

Nurses Recovery

I am a CA RN received a DUI after a night out. I know what I did was a mistake. I am glad no one was hurt. But here's my question. Is this job worth the money. So many people seem devastated by this BRN/BON whether its diversion or probation. The sadness and fear I hear from these posts that is taking up 2-4 years of your life. And it seems that the board just repeatedly beats the recovering nurse up. Is it worth it. I will soon be facing this decision. I am not sure that i want to subject myself to this suffering. If people could share there experience with probation, diversion or just moving to a different field, i would appreciate it.

If the money is the only reason your in nursing then it probably is not worth it..its worth it to me because it is my calling.
