I so hate my head at the moment, not sure what is wrong with me but head hunger is so taking over. I had gastric bypass and lost over 100lbs and don't want to gain but not sure what is wrong with me but these last few weeks I could scoff for the world. Even now as I write this I am eating something which I know I shouldn't. I am so mad with myself

Am sorry to hear about your struggle. I struggle with head hunger myself and know exactly what you mean. I eat when I'm not hungry and it's usually crap food. It is so difficult. You have my hugs.

Hi silverdragon!

I deal with this everyday as well. I also had gastric bypass and struggle with binging issues. it sounds like you are in a binge. its very hard but you have to drinks lots, i like the diet green tea. bring some frozen grapes around with you and suck on them ans slowly eat them, they will help some with the cravings. start bringin gyour food with you again when you goto work and watch your portions.

again, this is not easy, yiu have to take it one minute or step at a time. :)

I have eaten nothing but crap today. And yesterday. And so on...

It's such a struggle every day to eat a balanced diet within caloric limits. My brain gets tired thinking about and fighting with myself and going in circles with my food urges, so I give in.

I'm sorry you're feeling bad. Hugs to you.

Thanks Jamie

I have tried green tea a few times but not a tea person although I do like some fruit infusions. Not tried the frozen grapes so may get some and try them. Will also try to increase fluids as I do have a problem there, more so now it has been three years since the op.

I do like squash (a UK drink that you dilute to taste) but have found some of the frozen juices can taste the same so have tried upping fluids with them. I don''t regret my bypass but do hate my head at times. Thanks again
