Will I be able to find a job after Surviving ANP program?

Just curious....What are my chances of locating a job as an NP assuming I survive the Adult Nurse Practitioner Program of my University (assuming also that I pass the required test to become certified?).

I have a previous degree in Communications Disorders (Speech and Hearing Bachelors degree) and went back to school for a BSN. Now I'm headed into my 3rd semester as a Part time Masters student. I've had two years of hospital experience.....

I'm in the MD/DC/VA area. Or will I just become a statistic. (sorry - I'm having one of those moody..."why am back in school?" days).

Was it worth it getting the degree as an NP? How hard was it to find your first job after you graduated with your Masters degree as an NP? Did you work as an NP before you were certified?
