I am in the process of getting my prescriptive authority (full). I have a job that is waiting, and asking for updates on my progress, and the job that I am leaving, I need to make sure that I have everything from them before leaving.

I have submitted my RXN application, and my application to the DEA. The DEA states that they are waiting on DORA to verify that I have an RXN license, and they can continue. I am going into my 8th week after sending in my RXN application with DORA. I called a week ago to check on the progress, and they said that there was not any information on my account in regard to my RXN application. I have a confirmation from FedEx that it was signed for and received. They said that is fine, and that the advanced practice group will e-mail me if they need anything. I have emailed, no reply.

How long did it take to get your RXN license? Once they approve your RXN, then they notify the DEA, or do you need to? I just want to make sure that I have everything taken care of before exiting my current job (where I did my 1000 supervised hours).

I would appreciate any advise!
