Hi all...

I am currently applying for the Adult NP program at Kent State University in Ohio. I was wondering if anyone can give me some insight about a brand new grad student pursuing his MSN in this concentration? Also, any information about preparation would be fantastic.

A short history: I graduated from KSU in 2004 with my BSN. I have been working in mental health/geriatrics since that time, with very little deviation from that population. I am hoping that being a LTC nurse will not hinder my acceptance to the program, or have put me at a disadvantage due to the lack of acute patients that come to my facility.

I am working on pathophysiology self study, currently. Any other advice as to where I should direct my attention to ready myself for the workload?
