A few questions for any Watts Nursing School students:
I am in pre-reqs right now at MOC and starting clinicals/classes at Watts in August. Any advice on working while going to school? I'll be renting and living alone, nervous about loans etc. What is the typical schedule during the week? Any other words of wisdom in preparation?
Hey NcPony....Don't sweat the letter. It took J.H. almost a month to get mine to me. Albeit that was during January and we were all froze up and no one was working. Enjoy the time off, because once you start, it's go, go, go. There are very little breaks anywhere or anytime. You'll enjoy the saying. Watts isn't particularly hard to get into, but very hard to stay in.
Good luck,
You'll probably be starting your pre-req's in Jan if I am correct?
Stay away from Soc 230 online!!!!! Trust me on that. I can get you plenty of my classmates that took it and would rather have not.

CJ, thanks for the congrats! I really am not sure what determines if you're in or not. I've heard the biggest things are your essay and your test scores, but I'm not sure. I think it took about two or so weeks between the app being sent in and getting the criminal background check form. Then it was exactly three weeks from the point that I mailed in the form to when I got my acceptance letter. Good luck! I hope you can get in for spring!

Thanks! I can't decide whether to call the school and check in or not. Any advice?
