background info: i will be a new acnp grad in 9 more class days!!! (but that's besides the point... *hehe*) and my husband isn't really liking his job... well there's a job opp he may be interested in that is based out of wilmington - with his territory being the "supply and bolivia" area. i have never been to nc and was wondering what the area was like. so this brings me to my questions:

regarding living:

1. cost of living vs income for acnps/nps? (ballpark is fine)

2. any homes with large yards/acreage?

3. where are they? :)

4. what do you like the most/least about where you live?

regarding apn:

1. acnps utilized as hospitalists?

2. other readily available job opps?

3. feel well-compensated for what you do?

4. do you feel welcomed by the mds?

5. what do you like the most/least about the scope of practice for nps in nc?

thank ya very much!! feel free to answer as few or as many questions as you like... and give me any other info you feel is important to know.
